雨水节气简介
雨水是二十四节气中的第二个节气,一般从公历2月18日或19日开始,到3月4日或5日结束。《月令七十二候集解》中记载,“正月中,天一生水。春始属木,然生木者必水也,故立春后继之雨水。且东风既解冻,则散而为雨矣。”意思是说,雨水节气前后,万物开始萌动,春天就要到了。
随着雨水节气的到来,雪花纷飞、冷气侵骨的天气渐渐消失,湿润的空气、温和的阳光和潇潇细雨的日子正向人们走来——在“好雨知时节,当春乃发生。随风潜入夜,润物细无声”的春雨中,大地开始呈现出一派欣欣向荣的景象。
What is the 24 Solar Terms?
The 24 Solar Terms were created by ancient Chinese people and used to indicate the changes of climate and its phenomenon. Ancient Chinese divided the traditional lunar calendar into the 24 Solar Terms based on the observation of Sun’s position and movement to guide people for agricultural activity at the time.
Rain Water signals the increase in rainfall and rise in temperature. With its arrival, lively spring-like scenery starts blossoming: the river water defreezes, wild geese move from south to north, and trees and grass turn green again.
